A conference gave us an opportunity to visit Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, and Gold Coast in eastern Australia. Having never been to the southern hemisphere, this was our introduction to that part of the world. What we got to see was a beautiful urban setting, amazingly long beaches, and lots of animals (most of them admittedly in a zoo). See below for some of the images.
